Generic Clozaril (clozapine) is an a antipsychotic medication that is made to restore chemical balance in the brain for healthy and balanced behavioral function. Generic Clozaril helps treat schizophrenia and reduce the risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior in those diagnosed with schizophrenia and other psychiatric conditions. Take Generic Clozaril with a full glass of water. Generic Clozaril may be taken with or without food. Contact your doctor for the precise instructions that apply to you.
Taking Generic Clozaril may lower the amount of blood cells in your body, increasing the risk of internal infections. Many patients are advised to schedule doctor's visits while taking Generic Benicar to monitor their blood levels and the effectiveness of this treatment.
Inform your doctor and surgeon that you are taking Generic Clozaril before you go in for any surgical procedure or medical test. Do not stop taking this medication without first speaking to your doctor, as suddenly halting treatment may worsen your condition.

Do not take Generic Clozaril if you have any psychotic problems related to dementia. Serious side effects associated with taking this medication for those who have dementia-like illnesses include: heart failure, pneumonia, or sudden death. These side effects are more likely for older patients.
Stop taking Generic Clozaril and seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following serious side effects:
fatigue, issues breathing, fainting spells, decelerated heart rate, seizure, nausea, blacking-out, skin rash, bruising, muscle weakness, muscle stiffness, numbness, vomiting, increased thirst, rapid weight gain, increased hunger, loss of appetite, unusual taste in the mouth, urinating more than usual, increased perspiration, disorientation, tremors, uncontrollable movement in the eyes, face, mouth, lips, tongue, legs or arms, jaundice, or the combination of a headache with chest pains and a dizzy feeling or accelerated heart rate.
Less serious side effects associated with Generic Clozaril include:
vision impairment, constipation, dry mouth, increased perspiration, fatigue, dizzy feeling or sleep paralysis.

Do not take Generic Clozaril if you have any of the following conditions:

Before taking Generic Clozaril, consult your doctor if you have a history of any of the following medical conditions:
Heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, blood cell disorder, disorders related to heart rhythm, heart attack, stroke, lung disease, kidney disease, liver problems, seizure, epilepsy, bone marrow disorder, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, trouble urinating, Long QT syndrome (either personally or in your family), or if you smoke.
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or plan on becoming pregnant before taking this medication.

Contact your doctor if you are taking any of the following medications before adding Generic Clozaril to your treatment plan:
any additional antipsychotic drugs, any antidepressants, modafinil, armodafinil, cimetidine, nefazodone, St. John's wort, any antibiotic, any antifungal medication, any medication to treat HIV/AIDS, heart or blood pressure medication, seizure medication, any narcotic medication, medication for migraine headaches, anti-nausea medication, medication to treat vomiting, any anti-malaria drugs, conivaptan, bosentan, dexamethasone, phenobarbital, tacrolimus, isoniazid, imatinib, scopolamine or atropine.
Always inform your doctor of any medications you are taking (including vitamins, herbal supplements, and over the counter medications) before embarking on a new treatment. Additional medications not listen here may interact negatively with your medication.
Do not take more than your recommended dosage. Take missed doses as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next treatment.
Store Generic Clozaril in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. Dispose of any unused medication past the point of expiry. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
